All of Us Journey Bus Visits the Center!
April 12, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Join us and learn more about All of Us, so that LGBTQ+ people can help ensure their community is included in health studies! #AoULGBTQ
The All of Us Journey is headed your way! Come aboard this traveling educational exhibit to learn how you can help shape the future of health for yourself, your family, your community, and generations to come. The Journey features interactive activities, videos, games, quizzes, and more – all designed to demonstrate the power of your participation in health research. You can even enroll in the All of Us Research Program during your visit.
All of Us is committed to protecting the health of the communities we serve. As such, we will adhere to the local community safety guidelines. At this event, All of Us will be performing outreach with our local Los Angeles community.
This is a follow-up event to our April 6th Information Session & Lunch. If you are able to attend both events, on April 6th you can create an account with us, and on April 12th you can complete your full enrollment with onsite staff. Do not worry if you are unable to attend both events, we hope to see you at whichever is best for your schedule! Staff from two local HPO’s (Cedar Sinai, and USC) will be on sight to take your physical measurements and bio-specimen samples if you choose to do so. You will also be able to interact with All of Us Staff directly and learn more about how this research will benefit future lgbtq+ populations!
During this event, staff will be available to support you with creating an All of Us account. Please note that in order to participate in All of Us, you must be age 18 or older and live in the United States or its territories. Questions? Contact: [email protected]
